For our version, we combined ground pork, shredded carrots, fresh garlic and ginger, and a generous helping of Benissimo Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning. This savory blend adds layers of onion flavor that are commonly found in traditional dumpling fillings, making it an easy way to build authentic flavor without extra chopping or prep work.

To bring everything together, we mixed in Benissimo Toasted Sesame Seed Oil. Its rich, nutty flavor adds the classic sesame note that pairs perfectly with pork, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, giving the filling a restaurant-quality taste with just a few simple ingredients.

Once the filling is scooped onto the pan and topped with dumpling wrappers, a splash of water and a covered skillet do all the work. The wrappers steam from the top while the bottoms crisp up beautifully, creating the perfect contrast of textures in every bite.
