Beautiful glass bottle with a dependable cap. As far as a review goes the best I can say as a very heavy user of sesame oil this is above average. To be honest I bought this for the bottle which is absolutely perfect in my opinion as a dispenser, and I was pleasantly surprised by the oil. And I use more than any home cook I know of. The bottle is absolutely perfect with a great sealing cap.
Store owner replied:
Thanks, Eddie! Coming from a heavy sesame oil user, that means a lot. We're glad you were pleasantly surprised.
Arrived perfect ... This arrived in excellent condition. No leaking, well protected in cylindrical, air chambered packing in paper envelope. The other important thing, and most importantly, it tastes good and it's great on my ramen. I also like the visual aesthetic, though due to the spout design, it does require a the wipe after the pour to keep it from getting messy. This is its only drawback, thus it loses a star.

¡Muchas gracias, Emiliano! Nos alegra que le guste nuestro producto.
Flavorful, nice bottle - It has a mellow roasted flavor. I like that it is smooth and not overwhelming, it had a good balance. The bottle is nice and pours well. This would be a nice gift for someone that enjoys cooking.

Great for Stir Fry - Not only did my sesame oil came nicely package the bottle is really cute! I use the sesame oil in some of my meals and I totally enjoyed it. To make things better I got my free bottle of spicy sriracha oil!! I can’t wait to try it. I am really happy with my purchase.
Store owner replied:
Thanks! We're sorry about the small leak and glad you're pleased with the taste.
fresh tasting, and a really nice bottle to reuse! i use this in my homemade Sha Cha beef sauce,it tastes fresh, and gives just the right flavor to my meal!can’t wait to try their spicy sriracha oil too!
Store owner replied:
Thank you! We're glad you're enjoying that nutty flavor across so many dishes.
This is really high quality - If you’ve ever had fresh pressed sesame oil, you know you can’t get that same quality from the mass produced brands. Benissimo is the closest I've tasted to fresh pressed. Smooth and buttery tasting but not overwhelming, tastes great and enhances everything I’ve added it to. I will keep buying this as long as the price stays reasonable and I highly recommend this to any cooks and fans of Asian cooking. Did I mention this comes in a nice glass bottle? I’m hoping the manufacturer will offer a bulk refill in the future so I don’t have to throw these away.
Store owner replied:
Thank you, Ann! We're glad you liked everything about it.
Superb quality for connoisseurs. If you're a fan of the unique flavor of toasted sesame oil, then you should try this. It's delicious! But at this price I reserve mine for things like drizzling over a great fresh abalone congee, or as a condiment at the table. It would be such a waste in cooking! For color comparison sake, this sessame oil compares to traditional Japanese Kadoya the way olive oil compares to dark maple syrup. It is much paler and complex in flavor, assuming my taste buds are still in good form. The glass decanter is a nice plus!
Store owner replied:
Thank you, Patricia! We're thrilled it lives up to your standards.
Great oil; Leaky bottle - The sesame oil itself is very tasty and good quality. Unfortunately the bottle leaked in transit, coating the bottle and box in oil. There was no discernible seal breakage, but it seems the bottle must be kept upright in order to not leak.
Store owner replied:
Thanks, Tammie! We're glad it arrived well packaged and that you love the taste.
Great product plus a beautiful bottle - Great tasting on all my stir fry dishes. It was that taste I missed in the take out places food. Now I am hooked. Fresh taste plus fancy decantor.I did receive a coupon in my box for a free Siracha oil which arrived yesterday. Maybe you will get lucky and get a coupon in your box. Will definitely order again. Awesome customer service from this young company. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
Store owner replied:
Thanks, Carla! We're glad it brings back that takeout flavor you missed.

Well packaged - I have never seen anything from Amazon so well packed. It was so well sealed I broke the lid trying to get to the bottle opened. It is now open and it is fresh. It does not have the same strong sesame smell or flavor I am used to.
Excellent for cooking and sauces - Great when stir frying or marinating ahi tuna. Add it to balsamic vinegar or rice vinegar for a special salad dressing. Mix it with a little wasabi and soy for sushi.
Store owner replied:
Thank you, Irene! Marinated ahi tuna and a sesame vinaigrette sound incredible.

Where are Benissimo products made?
We’re proud of our roots. Benissimo products are handcrafted in small batches in Tucker, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. By keeping production local and doing things like dehydrating our herbs in-house, we maintain total control over the freshness and integrity of every bottle. It’s a labor of love that ensures your kitchen gets only the best.
Are Benissimo products vegan and allergen-free?
Almost every Benissimo product is vegan-friendly and free of common allergens, with one tiny exception: our Toasted Sesame Oil. We keep our ingredient lists clean and simple—just real herbs, quality spices, and premium oils.
How long has Benissimo been in the flavor game?
We’ve been simplifying cooking and restoring authentic flavor to kitchens for over 20 years. Benissimo started crafting herb-infused oils back in 2003, quickly becoming a favorite across the U.S.. In 2026, we expanded that heritage with a full line of spices, salts, and sugars, combining two rich culinary traditions to give you the ultimate kitchen "cheat code".
Where can I buy Benissimo products?
You can find us at Benissimo.com, on Amazon, or at select specialty and grocery retailers. If you never want to face a flavorless meal again, we also offer a monthly subscription so your pantry stays "Benissimo'd" year-round.
